So many of you have been waiting for this, many of you will be excited for this, and some of you have no idea what’s going on. 

 Pro Bending is a popular sport in Republic City involving two teams of three benders, one from each of the three main existing bending arts. The objective of the sport is to gain as much territory within the ring as possible within a set amount of time, or, alternatively, to push members of the opposing team over the back of the ring.

Many fans have created oc’s and or drawn themselves as Pro Benders, but were at a loss for what to do with these amazing bender designs. LOOK NO FURTHER! Here is where your bender will be put to use in a fun way!

This will be a group effort, meaning you are encouraged to team up with other tumblr artists to form probending teams. Remember you need a Fire Bender, Water Bender, and Earth Bender. We only accept teams of three as those are the official rules.

How to join:

1. To register your team send a submission with the following:

2. If you do not have a full group of three, send the same info, minus team name, to us, and we will help find you a team.

I’ve joined what now?

It may take us a tiny while, but we will compile the teams of three into an official artist list. (There will also be a list of singles, or doubles who need another team member to be official).

Then once a week, on Sunday, We will announce the two teams that are to go head to head in the arena. 

How does Battling Work?

Sunday- Two teams from our master list will be chosen, through randomization, to battle. 

They are then given one week to make an illustration of said battle, it can be collab, individual, animated, comic, it doesn’t matter, whatever you can do in a week illustrating your battle.

Saturday-Submissions open, only the battling teams submit their official battle entries to the tumblr. They will be posted and fans will be allowed to vote for which team they prefer then a panel of judges will discuss what they think and a winner will be obtained through the input of both fans and judges. 

Sunday-Winners will be announced and next teams will be generated!

Hopefully every team will get a chance to match up!

Friday: There will also be the option of submitting relevant fanart (restricted to officially listed pro bending OC’s), but we want to make sure the bending battles are the main focus, and a week seems like a good amount of time. 

Remember that Korra is a kids cartoon so no porn or nudity please, not that there should be porn or nudity in a pro bending match anyway but who knows.

Injuries: Cuts, Scraps, ETC. Are allowed but don’t over do it. We don’t want to see any limbs missing or eyeballs falling out.
